The Starmont Stars topped the visiting West Central Blue Devils volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Stars now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edgewood-Colesburg for a Tri-Rivers - Rivers test on Thursday, September 14. Starmont will confront a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Midland (Wyoming, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 8-2.

The Blue Devils (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Postville (Postville, IA). The Pirates enter the Upper Iowa test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Postville was knocked off by Kee (Lansing, IA), 3-0, in a league test.
