California High School Softball - Torrey Pines bounces Steele Canyon
April 20, 2024: San Diego, CA 92130 Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Falcons now own a 15-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Costa Canyon for a Coastal North County challenge on Wednesday, April 24. Torrey Pines will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Westview (San Diego, CA). The Mavericks record now stands at 15-7.
With the loss, Steele Canyon falls to 13-4 on the campaign. The Cougars host El Capitan (Lakeside, CA) to face the Vaqueros in a Grossmont Hills challenge on Tuesday, April 23.
