California High School Basketball - Van Nuys knocked off by Kennedy
January 21, 2022: Granada Hills, CA 91344 The Kennedy Cougars basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Van Nuys Wolves to 52 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Panorama for a Valley Mission contest on Monday, January 24. Kennedy will meet a Pythons team coming off a 81-73 league loss to San Fernando (San Fernando, CA). The Pythons record now stands at 8-4.
The Wolves (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hawthorne (Hawthorne, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Hawthorne was defeated by Morningside (Inglewood, CA), 74-35, in a league contest.
