The Sterling Rangers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Northeast Christian Warriors to 56 in the Rangers non-league victory on Friday.

The Rangers now sport a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Deer Park for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 12. Sterling will meet a Deer team coming off a 77-58 non-league win over More (Lafayette, LA). The Deer record now stands at 4-6.

The Warriors (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Westgate (New Iberia, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Westgate was defeated by Sterling (Baytown, TX), 81-78, in a non-league contest.
