Brentwood Christian Bears (Austin, TX) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting John Paul II Centurions (Corpus Christi, TX), 81-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Brentwood Christian upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Bears host Hill Country Christian School of Austin (Austin, TX) to clash with the Knights in a TAPPS 4A District 3 bout on Friday, January 6. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Hill Country Christian School of Austin lost 50-27 in their recent league bout against Veritas Academy (Austin, TX)

Next up, the Centurions clash with the Holy Cross Knights (San Antonio, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 3 bout, on Thursday, January 12. John Paul II will attempt to upgrade on its 8-17 season record.
