The Weld Central Rebels tipped the visiting Strasburg Indians basketball team by a final score of 45-42 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Rebels face the Brush Beetdiggers (Brush, CO) in a 3A/2A Patriot game, on Tuesday, January 17. Weld Central will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Beetdiggers enter the game with a 6-3 record after their 67-49 league win over Highland (Ault, CO).
