Virginia High School Football - Orange County knocked off by Albemarle
September 22, 2023: Orange, VA 22960 Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA), 22-6 in a league test.
With the triumph, Albemarle improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Patriots host Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to battle the Flying Flucos in a Jefferson test on Friday, September 29. The Flying Flucos come into the test with a record of 3-1. Fluvanna County won 35-6 in their recent league test against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA)
With the loss, Orange County drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Fighting hornets travel to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA) to battle the Warriors in a Jefferson test on Friday, September 29. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-4. Western Albemarle lost 49-14 in their recent league test against Louisa County (Mineral, VA)
