Solanco Golden Mules (Quarryville, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers (Lampeter, PA), 48-27 in a league test.

With the triumph, Solanco improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Golden Mules travel to Cocalico (Denver, PA) to confront the Eagles in a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 test on Friday, October 19. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-2. Cocalico won 55-21 in their recent league test against Garden Spot (New Holland, PA)

With the loss, Lampeter-Strasburg drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, PA) to confront the Bears in a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 test on Friday, October 19. The Bears come into the test with a record of 5-3. Elizabethtown won 52-17 in their recent non-league test against Penn Manor (Millersville, PA)
