North Dakota High School Basketball - Horace tops Minnewaska Area
December 29, 2023: Horace, ND 58047 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Horace (Horace, ND) and the visiting Minnewaska Area Lakers (Glenwood, MN), saw Horace's basketball squad knock off Minnewaska Area by a count of 69-50.
With the victory, Horace upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The host Shanley (Fargo, ND) to play the Deacons in a AA East challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Deacons come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Shanley won 69-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Wahpeton (Wahpeton, ND)
Next up, the Lakers play the Southwest Christian Stars (Chaska, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 30. Minnewaska Area will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Stars come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 63-61 non-league loss to Pequot Lakes (Pequot Lakes, MN).
