January 10, 2023: La Jolla, CA 92093 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Preuss UCSD Tritons (La Jolla, CA) and the visiting Mountain Empire Redhawks (Pine Valley, CA), saw Preuss UCSD's basketball squad overcome Mountain Empire by a tally of 31-15.
With the victory, Preuss UCSD improves its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Tritons travel to Ocean View Christian (San Diego, CA) to confront the Patriots in a Pioneer challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Ocean View Christian lost 39-28 in their recent league challenge against Horizon Prep (Rancho Santa Fe, CA)
Next up, the Redhawks confront the High Tech NC Raptor (San Marcos, CA) in a Patriot challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Mountain Empire will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
