Connecticut High School Basketball - Waterford crushes Old Lyme
February 2, 2022: Old Lyme, CT 06371 Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT), 81-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Waterford upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Lancers host Ledyard (Ledyard, CT) to play the Colonels in a non-league bout on Friday, February 4. The Colonels go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Ledyard won 53-50 in their recent league bout against East Lyme (East Lyme, CT)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Portland Highlanders (Portland, CT) in a Shoreline bout, on Friday, February 4. Old Lyme will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Highlanders go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 64-41 non-league loss to Conard (West Hartford, CT).
