Massachusetts High School Baseball - Oakmont Regional holds off Groton-Dunstable
April 29, 2024: Groton, MA 01450 Oakmont Regional Spartans (Ashburnham, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Oakmont Regional upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Spartans host Quabbin Regional (Barre, MA) to battle the Panthers in a Midland-Wachusett C test on Wednesday, May 1. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 3-6. Quabbin Regional lost 7-0 in their recent league test against Clinton (Clinton, MA)
With the defeat, Groton-Dunstable falls to 4-4 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Fitchburg (Fitchburg, MA) to battle the Red Raiders in a non-league test on Thursday, May 2. The Red Raiders come into the test with a record of 0-6.
