January 18, 2023: Dinwiddie, VA 23841 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA) and the visiting Amelia County Raiders (Amelia Court House, VA), saw Dinwiddie's basketball squad hold off Amelia County by a tally of 32-26.
With the victory, Dinwiddie improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Thomas Dale (Chester, VA) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Thomas Dale won 80-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA)
Next up, the Raiders play the Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. Amelia County will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Statesmen come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 40-10 non-league loss to Heritage (Lynchburg, VA).
