New York High School Basketball - Nichols tops Randolph

January 14, 2023: Randolph, NY 14772

Nichols Vikings (Buffalo, NY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Randolph Cardinals (Randolph, NY), 51-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Nichols upgrades its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to St. Mary's (Lancaster, NY) to play the Lancers in a Monsignor Martin bout on Thursday, January 19. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 6-6. St. Mary's lost 74-56 in their recent non-league bout against Williamsville South (Williamsville, NY)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Sherman Wildcats (Sherman, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Randolph will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 50-31 league win over Silver Creek (Silver Creek, NY).
