December 28, 2023: Aledo, TX 76008 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) and the visiting Paschal Panthers (Fort Worth, TX), saw Aledo's basketball squad hold off Paschal by a count of 50-49.
With the victory, Aledo upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Brewer (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Bears in a 5A Region I District 5 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Bears go into the test with a record of 18-4.
The Panthers now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Fossil Ridge for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Paschal will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 64-51 league loss to Timber Creek (Fort Worth, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 9-6.
