October 25, 2022: Coventry, CT 06238 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Portland Highlanders (Portland, CT) and the host Coventry Patriots (Coventry, CT), saw Portland's soccer squad get by Coventry by a count of 2-1.
The Highlanders now hold a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Suffield for a non-league test on Friday, October 28. Portland will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-0 league win over East Granby (East Granby, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Coventry drops to 0-12 on the season. The Patriots travel to Windsor Locks (Windsor Locks, CT) to meet the Raiders in a Central Connecticut - North test on Wednesday, October 26. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-10. Windsor Locks lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against East Hampton (East Hampton, CT)
