Arkansas High School Basketball - Rose Bud overwhelms Cedar Ridge
January 2, 2018: Rose Bud, AR 72137 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Rose Bud Ramblers (Rose Bud, AR) and the visiting Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR), saw Rose Bud's basketball squad wallop Cedar Ridge by a tally of 69-40.
With the victory, Rose Bud improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Ramblers travel to Harding Academy (Searcy, AR) to confront the Wildcats in a 3A Region 2 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Harding Academy lost 54-43 in their recent league challenge against Riverview (Searcy, AR)
Next up, the Timberwolves confront the Southside Southerners (Batesville, AR) in a 4A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Cedar Ridge will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Southerners come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 62-40 league win over Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR).
