Michigan High School Football - Chippewa Valley prevails Catholic Central

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI) and the host Catholic Central Shamrocks (Novi, MI), observed Chippewa Valley's football squad defeat Catholic Central by a count of 45-20.

The Big Reds now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Utica Ford for a non-league contest on Thursday, September 2. Chippewa Valley will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 54-0 non-league loss to Bedford (Temperance, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.

Coming up next, the Shamrocks encounter the Davison Cardinals (Davison, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 3. Catholic Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 29-26 non-league loss to Clarkston (Clarkston, MI).
