North Carolina High School Basketball - Wesleyan Christian Academy fells Providence Day
January 4, 2013: Charlotte, NC 28270 Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC), 64-52 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Wesleyan Christian Academy upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Huntington Prep (Huntington, WV) to play the Express in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 5. The Express come into the bout with a record of 14-1. Huntington Prep lost 59-46 in their recent non-league bout against Prime Prep (Dallas, TX)
Next up, the Chargers play the Walnut Grove Christian "The Grove" (Fort Mill, SC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 8. Providence Day will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The "The Grove" come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 65-53 non-league win over Charlotte United Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC).
