Wesley Chapel Wildcats (Wesley Chapel, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Central Bears (Brooksville, FL), 66-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Wesley Chapel upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Sunlake (Land O'Lakes, FL) to play the Seahawks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 5. The Seahawks go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Sunlake won 45-39 in their recent league bout against Hernando (Brooksville, FL)

Next up, the Bears play the Land O'Lakes Gators (Land O'Lakes, FL) in a 5A District 7 bout, on Friday, December 5. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Gators go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 82-65 non-league win over Hudson (Hudson, FL).
