Michigan High School Basketball - Mattawan nudges Vicksburg
February 13, 2018: Mattawan, MI 49071 Mattawan Wildcats (Mattawan, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Vicksburg Bulldogs (Vicksburg, MI), 58-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mattawan upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Central (Battle Creek, MI) to clash with the Bearcats in a Southwestern Michigan - East bout on Friday, February 16. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 3-10. Central lost 75-55 in their recent non-league bout against Benton Harbor (Benton Harbor, MI)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Edwardsburg Eddies (Edwardsburg, MI) in a Wolverine B bout, on Thursday, February 15. Vicksburg will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Eddies go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 66-44 non-league win over Berrien Springs (Berrien Springs, MI).
