January 27, 2023: Blue Mountain, MS 38610 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Blue Mountain Cougars (Blue Mountain, MS) and the visiting Senatobia Warriors (Senatobia, MS), saw Blue Mountain's basketball squad knock off Senatobia by a tally of 50-35.
With the victory, Blue Mountain improves its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS) to play the Braves in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 16-1. Tishomingo County won 60-33 in their recent league challenge against Shannon (Shannon, MS)
Next up, the Warriors play the Gentry Rams (Indianola, MS) in a 4A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Senatobia will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 39-36 league loss to Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS).
