The Mankato East Cougars topped the visiting Faribault Falcons volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Cougars now have a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Le Sueur-Henderson for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 5. Mankato East will confront a Giants team coming off a 3-0 league win over Jordan (Jordan, MN). The Giants record now stands at 13-4.

The Falcons (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN). The Tigers enter the Big 9 test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, Albert Lea was knocked off by Owatonna (Owatonna, MN), 3-0, in a league test.
