The Gaylord Blue Devils basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Brimley Bays to 57 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alpena for a Big North contest on Friday, February 2.

The Bays (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Rudyard (Rudyard, MI). The Bulldogs enter the Eastern Upper Peninsula contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Rudyard nudged Cedarville (Cedarville, MI), 54-37, in a league contest.
