Oregon High School Basketball - Camas Valley nips Elkton
February 2, 2019: Elkton, OR 97436 Camas Valley Hornets (Camas Valley, OR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Elkton Elks (Elkton, OR), 40-38 in a league bout.
With the win, Camas Valley upgrades its record to 9-10 on the season. The Hornets travel to Days Creek (Days Creek, OR) to play the Wolves in a 1A Skyline bout on Tuesday, February 5. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 15-5. Days Creek won 41-38 in their recent league bout against Pacific (Port Orford, OR)
Next up, the Elks play the New Hope Christian Warriors (Grants Pass, OR) in a 1A Skyline bout, on Tuesday, February 5. Elkton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 7-18 record after their 86-35 league loss to Umpqua Valley Christian/Melrose Christian (Roseburg, OR).
