Alabama High School Football - Parker overwhelms Corner

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Parker Thundering Herd (Birmingham, AL) and the visiting Corner Yellow Jackets (Warrior, AL), observed Parker's football squad bounce Corner by a count of 44-9.

The Thundering Herd now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Carver for a 5A Region 5 contest on Thursday, October 15. Parker will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 40-7 league loss to Ramsay (Birmingham, AL). The Rams record now stands at 3-4.

Coming up next, the Yellow Jackets encounter the Wenonah Dragons (Birmingham, AL) in a 5A Region 5 contest, on Friday, October 16. Corner will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Dragons go into the contest with a 7-0 record after their 50-0 league win over Dora (Dora, AL).
