December 20, 2019: Brownwood, TX 76801 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Brownwood Lions (Brownwood, TX) and the visiting Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX), saw Brownwood's basketball squad wallop Burnet by a tally of 90-61.
With the victory, Brownwood improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Lampasas (Lampasas, TX) to play the Badgers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 26. The Badgers come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Lampasas won 63-60 in their recent non-league challenge against McGregor (McGregor, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Round Rock HomeSchool Raiders (Round Rock, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Burnet will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 73-57 non-league loss to Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX).
