February 7, 2023: Richmond, VA 23233 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) and the visiting Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA), saw Godwin's basketball squad wallop Maggie Walker by a tally of 49-18.
With the victory, Godwin improves its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA) to confront the Jaguars in a Colonial challenge on Friday, February 10. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 18-0. Glen Allen won 77-8 in their recent league challenge against Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA)
Next up, the confront the West Point Pointers (West Point, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 8. Maggie Walker will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Pointers come into the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 48-26 non-league loss to Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA).
