Texas High School Basketball - Abbott tops Texas Wind
January 16, 2024: Abbott, TX 76621 Abbott Panthers (Abbott, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Texas Wind (Waco, TX), 59-47 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Abbott upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Oglesby (Oglesby, TX) to play the Tigers in a 1A Region IV District 25 bout on Friday, January 19. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 3-2.
Next up, the play the Varsity Opponent (, ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Texas Wind will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record.
