The Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Thornton Fractional North Meteors to 44 in the Red Wolves league triumph on Tuesday.

The Red Wolves now sport a 17-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bremen for a South Suburban - Blue contest on Wednesday, February 7. Thornton Fractional South will meet a Braves team coming off a 56-25 league win over Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL). The Braves record now stands at 13-10.

The Meteors (16-13) will now prepare for their contest against Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL). The Hawks enter the South Suburban - Blue contest with a 11-17 record. In their last contest, Hillcrest was nudged by Richards (Oak Lawn, IL), 44-43, in a league contest.
