October 5, 2012: Lisle, IL 60532 Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team rout the visiting Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL), 49-0 in a league test.
With the win, Benet Academy improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Redwings host Marist (Chicago, IL) to confront the Red Hawks in a East Suburban Catholic test on Friday, October 12. The Red Hawks go into the test with a record of 7-0. Marist won 21-14 in their recent league test against Notre Dame (Niles, IL)
With the defeat, Nazareth Academy falls to 3-4 on the year. The Roadrunners host Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 13. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 2-5. Riverside-Brookfield won 21-7 in their recent league battle against Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL)
