Texas High School Basketball - Wagner holds off Judson
February 2, 2018: San Antonio, TX 78233 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Judson Rockets (Converse, TX), saw Wagner's basketball squad hold off Judson by a tally of 85-84.
With the victory, Wagner improves its record to 25-5 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX) to confront the Unicorns in a 6A Region IV District 27 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Unicorns come into the challenge with a record of 19-13. New Braunfels won 86-78 in their recent league challenge against East Central (San Antonio, TX)
Next up, the Rockets confront the Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 27 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Judson will attempt to improve on its 22-10 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 23-7 record after their 62-57 league win over Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX).
