January 20, 2024: Martinsville, IL 62442 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Martinsville Bluestreaks (Martinsville, IL) and the visiting Urbana University Illineks (Urbana, IL), saw Martinsville's basketball squad wallop Urbana University by a tally of 70-37.
With the victory, Martinsville improves its record to 8-14 on the campaign. The Bluestreaks host Ramsey (Ramsey, IL) to play the Rams in a challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 3-18. Ramsey lost 81-68 in their recent non-league challenge against North Clay/Clay City (Louisville, IL)
Next up, the Illineks play the Calvary Christian Academy Knights (Normal, IL) in a East Central Illinois challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Urbana University will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 0-14 record after their 45-25 league loss to Arthur-Okaw Christian (Arthur, IL).
