In Saturday's non-league battle, the host River Valley Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Buckeye Valley Barons.

The Vikings (9-8) will now prepare for their battle against Pleasant (Marion, OH). The Spartans come into the Mid-Ohio Athletic battle with a 8-8 record. In their last battle, Pleasant lost by Lexington (Lexington, OH), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
