The Hillcrest Christian Cougars basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Porter's Chapel Academy Eagles to 38 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to River Oaks for a MAIS 3A District 4 contest on Thursday, January 11.

The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against River Oaks (Monroe, LA). The Mustangs enter the MAIS 3A District 4 contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, River Oaks was routed by West Side Christian (El Dorado, AR), 59-47, in a non-league contest.
