South Carolina High School Basketball - Travelers Rest falls to Woodmont
January 18, 2024: Travelers Rest, SC 29690 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Woodmont Wildcats basketball team scored a good 59-47 victory over the Travelers Rest Devildogs.
With the victory, Woodmont improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC) to play the Yellow Jackets in a AAAAA Region 1 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 17-4. T.L. Hanna won 62-47 in their recent league challenge against Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC)
Next up, the Devildogs play the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers (Greer, SC) in a AAA Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Travelers Rest will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Fighting Tigers come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 68-56 league win over Chapman (Inman, SC).
