In Saturday's league outing, the Monroe Dragons (Monroe, OR) basketball squad beat the visiting Central Linn Cobras (Halsey, OR), by a margin of 61-45.

The Dragons (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against East Linn Christian Academy (Lebanon, OR). The Eagles go into the 2A Central Valley outing with a 14-5 record. In their last outing, East Linn Christian Academy was beaten by Regis (Stayton, OR), 72-58, in a league outing.
