Illinois High School Basketball - Lockport routs Joliet Catholic
February 24, 2021: Lockport, IL 60441 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL), by a count of 56-32.
The Porters (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL). The Vikings go into the SouthWest Suburban - Blue outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Homewood-Flossmoor was crushed by Whitney Young (Chicago, IL), 66-42, in a non-league outing.
The Hilltoppers now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Marian Central Catholic for a East Suburban Catholic outing on Friday, February 26. Joliet Catholic will clash with a Hurricanes squad coming off a 73-18 league loss to St. Patrick (Chicago, IL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-4.
