Kentucky High School Baseball - Letcher County Central gets by Murray
April 6, 2011: Murray, KY 42071 Letcher County Central Cougars (Whitesburg, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Murray Tigers (Murray, KY), 7-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Letcher County Central upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY) to battle the Thoroughbreds in a non-league test on Thursday, April 7. The Thoroughbreds come into the test with a record of 3-3. Newport Central Catholic won 15-0 in their recent non-league test against St. Henry (Erlanger, KY)
The Tigers now possess a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cottage Hill Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, April 8.
