New Jersey High School Basketball - Lenape Valley nudges Roxbury
February 4, 2023: Stanhope, NJ 07874 Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Roxbury Gaels (Succasunna, NJ), 46-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lenape Valley upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Patriots host Hackettstown (Hackettstown, NJ) to clash with the Tigers in a Northwest Jersey - Freedom bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Hackettstown won 70-52 in their recent non-league bout against South Hunterdon (Lambertville, NJ)
Next up, the Gaels clash with the Madison Dodgers (Madison, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Roxbury will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Dodgers go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 63-52 non-league win over Morris Knolls (Rockaway, NJ).
