Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) and the host Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX), saw Georgetown's baseball squad edge Wakeland by a count of 5-4.

Coming up next, the Eagles play the Friendswood Mustangs (Friendswood, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, June 11. Georgetown will attempt to move on its 33-7 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 31-6 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Mansfield Legacy (Mansfield, TX).

The Wolverines now possess a 25-14 record.
