Ohio High School Basketball - Copley holds off Norton
December 30, 2008: Norton, OH 44203 Copley Indians (Copley, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Norton Panthers (Norton, OH), 49-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Copley upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Green (Green, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a Suburban bout on Tuesday, January 6. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Green lost 80-54 in their recent non-league bout against GlenOak (Canton, OH)
Next up, the Panthers play the Crestwood Red Devils (Mantua, OH) in a Portage County - Metro bout, on Saturday, January 3. Norton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
