Washington High School Basketball - Sultan topped by Coupeville
December 9, 2023: Sultan, WA 98294 The Coupeville Wolves basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Sultan Turks to 48 in the Wolves non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wolves now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granite Falls for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Coupeville will battle a Tigers team coming off a 46-40 league win over Eastside Prep (Kirkland, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
The Turks (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Seattle Academy (Seattle, WA). The Cardinals come into the 1A Emerald Sound contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Seattle Academy was defeated by Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA), 68-38, in a non-league contest.
