September 1, 2012: Eagle River, AK 99577 The Service Cougars football squad scored 32 points and restricted the host Eagle River Wolves to 0 in the Cougars league victory on Saturday.
The Cougars now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chugiak for a Cook Inlet battle on Friday, September 7. Service will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 41-3 league loss to South (Anchorage, AK). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-4.
Coming up next, the Wolves play the West Valley Wolf Pack (Fairbanks, AK) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 8. Eagle River will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Wolf Pack enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 26-7 league loss to Palmer (Palmer, AK).
