The Donna Redskins football squad scored 70 points and limited the host Valley View Tigers to 21 in the Redskins non-league win on Friday.

The Redskins now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial for a non-league battle on Friday, September 8. Donna will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 53-20 non-league win over Porter (Brownsville, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Port Isabel Tarpons (Port Isabel, TX) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 7. Valley View will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Tarpons go into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 48-20 non-league win over Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX).
