In Friday's non-league match, the host Hinsdale Central Red Devils football squad scored a close 7-0 victory over the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies.

In their next game, the Red Devils clash with the Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL) in a West Suburban - Silver outing, on Friday, September 14. Hinsdale Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Trojans go into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 42-6 league win over Proviso West (Hillside, IL).
