Michigan High School Basketball - Grand Haven fells Spring Lake
December 17, 2021: Spring Lake, MI 49456 Grand Haven Buccaneers (Grand Haven, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Spring Lake Lakers (Spring Lake, MI), 58-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Grand Haven upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI) to clash with the Eagles in a Ottawa-Kent - Red bout on Friday, January 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Hudsonville lost 51-48 in their recent non-league bout against Christian (Grand Rapids, MI)
Next up, the Lakers clash with the Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 28. Spring Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Northmen go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 61-21 league win over Gaylord (Gaylord, MI).
