Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN) and the visiting Battle Lake Battlers (Battle Lake, MN), saw West Central Area's basketball squad wallop Battle Lake by a tally of 97-39.

With the victory, West Central Area improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Battlers confront the Breckenridge Cowboys (Breckenridge, MN) in a A Section 6 challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Battle Lake will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
