Virginia High School Soccer - Tandem Friends overwhelmed by Highland
September 27, 2023: Warrenton, VA 20186 The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Highland Hawks (Warrenton, VA) and the visiting Tandem Friends Badgers (Charlottesville, VA), saw Highland's soccer squad triumph over Tandem Friends by a count of 9-0.
The Hawks now hold a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Wakefield School for a Greater Piedmont test on Tuesday, October 3. Highland will meet a Fighting Owls squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Trinity at Meadow View (Falls Church, VA). The Fighting Owls record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Tandem Friends drops to 0-4 on the season. The Badgers host Veritas School (Richmond, VA) to meet the Lions in a Independent test on Friday, September 29. The Lions come into the test with a record of 4-2. Veritas School won 4-0 in their recent league test against Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA)
