September 29, 2023: Lefors, TX 79054 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Southland Eagles football squad scored a big 62-14 victory over the Lefors Pirates.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Klondike Cougars (Lamesa, TX) in a 1A 6 Man 2 Region I District 4 (6 Man) match, on Friday, October 6. Southland will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 5-1 record after their 72-24 non-league win over O'Donnell (O'Donnell, TX).
The Pirates (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Silverton (Silverton, TX). The Owls enter the 1A 6 Man 2 Region I District 1 (6 Man) match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Silverton routed Prince of Peace (Carrollton, TX), 63-6, in a non-league match.
